Full Playing Member - 1st Year At The Club

Definition

A Junior Is any player whose club membership does not exceed a total of five years. "A membership year" is the period extending from 1 October in any year to 30 September in the following year.

Membership Notes

All subscriptions are due on or before 30 September each year.
It helps the Club a great deal if members make prompt payment of their subscriptions well ahead of the 30 September deadline.
It also helps to use the preferred payment method of Internet Banking. The Club's account details appear on the subscriptions invoice that you will receive.
New members joining the Club are required to pay their subscription within one month from the date of their election to membership.
A non-subscribed member cannot take part in any Club game.
Resignations should be addressed to the Secretary.

Membership Categories

All Full Playing Members shall:

Be entitled to full playing privileges and advantages of membership of the Club
Full use of the Club’s green
Enter any bowling competition, tournament, or match held by the Club
If selected represent the Club in competitions, tournaments and matches
Entry into New Zealand Bowls and Wellington Bowls competitions
Access to club coaches
Be entitled to participate in social activities of the Club
The right to hold office in the Club, and to speak and vote at Club General Meetings

This membership is available to any person who is a full time student at an education
establishment in New Zealand and under 18 years of age.

All Student Members shall:

Be entitled to full playing privileges and advantages of membership of the Club
Full use of the Club’s green
Enter any bowling competition, tournament, or match held by the Club
If selected represent the Club in competitions, tournaments and matches
Entry into New Zealand Bowls and Wellington Bowls competitions
Access to club coaches
Be entitled to participate in social activities of the Club
The right to hold office in the Club, and to speak and vote at Club General Meetings

All Associate Members (a full member of any other club affiliated to Bowls NZ) shall:

Be entitled to participate in social activities of the Club and to play on the Green of the Club on days as determined by the Board
Associate members are not entitled to participate in club events, or club, centre or national events that progress to a centre or national championship
Associate members are entitled to attend Club General Meetings however have no voting rights

All Limited Playing Members shall:

Be entitled to limited playing privileges and advantages of membership of the Club as determined by the Board
Be entitled to play in approved bowls events within the boundary of the physical club, including galas.
Be entitled to participate in any event at any other bowling club, provided the other bowling club permits such participation
Limited playing members are not entitled to participate in club, centre or national events that progress to a centre or national championship
Limited playing members are not entitled to represent the club in events such as Interclub, Pennants or tournaments or matches outside of the club
Be entitled to participate in social activities of the Club
The right to hold office in the Club, and to speak and vote at Club General Meetings

All Non-playing Members shall:

Be entitled to such privileges and advantages of members of the Club as determined by the Board
Be entitled to full use of the Club’s lounge facilities and participate in all social activities of the Club
Be entitled to speak and vote at general meetings of the Club unless as deemed by the Board the matter to be voted on would inhibit or prevent the Board from achieving the Objects as detailed in this Constitution or the conditions of our Lease Agreement
