Becoming a member at Whitby Bowling Club is simple, friendly, and flexible. We offer a range of membership options so you can choose what suits your lifestyle, your interests, and the way you like to play.
 

Membership options include:​

Full Playing Membership

For bowlers keen to play regularly, compete, and take part in club championships as well as Bowls Wellington and Bowls New Zealand events.

 

Limited Playing Membership

Ideal for those who lead busy lives however are keen to be
involved, enjoy regular time on the green and take part in selected club events and
competitions.

 

Associate Membership (Secondary Club)

For bowlers who hold a full playing membership at another Bowls New Zealand affiliated club. Members can participate in social activities at Whitby and play on the green on days approved by the Board.

 

Student Membership (up to age 18)

For younger players learning the game in a supportive environment. Student members are eligible to play in club championships and Bowls Wellington competitions.

 

Non‑Playing Membership

Perfect for supporters, friends, and anyone who loves being part of the club community. Non‑playing members can participate fully in all social activities.
