Whitby Bowling Club
If you are undecided about playing bowls you can come along to one of our ‘have-a-go’ events, a community bowling event, or become a Social member to get access to the green. There are bowls that you may borrow, members who will coach you informally, and you will find that we are a friendly club. We meet socially on Friday evenings at the club house.

*Full Playing Members enjoying their first year at the club whether new to bowling or new to Whitby Bowling Club will receive the benefit of half price membership fees for their first year.

This membership is available to any person who is a full time student at an education establishment in New Zealand and under 18 years of age. Student membership includes the following:

Limited-playing members who are in full membership at another club are not subject to the restrictions marked with an '*'.

Cannot enter into Club Championships

Cannot enter into Galas *

Cannot enter into New Zealand Bowls and Wellington Bowls competitions *

Can only play in events that are determined by the Board.

Limited Playing members can speak and vote at AGM’s and Special Meetings

Full use of the Club’s Lounge and lounge facilities and the ability to participate in any social activities organised by the Club
This membership includes the following:
